Trevor Harris
Trevor has been riding for 7 years and enjoys not only a nice, slow easy going horse but also a fast horse. He has competed in speed events and mounted shooting and has become quite the hand around the farm. Trevor was CMSA's National Limited Wrangler Runner Up in 2022 coming in just a few points shy of his sister. Trevor is now training his Mustang, Six.

Hailey Harris

Our Horses
Horsemanship is learning how to be in complete control while at the same time in complete surrender.

Cheeto
Cheeto is a 20 year old Leopard Appaloosa She joined our farm in June 2019. She is an easy going horse but has a "go" button for speed. Cheeto unfortunately is going blind and also has some other old horse issues such as bushings so she has officially been retired from lessons and riding.

Izzy
Izzy in an American Quarter Horse and was born on our farm in April of 2021. She will not begin her saddle work until she is 3 years old but in the mean time she enjoys many scratches and attention.

Anthem
Anthem was a special gift to Hailey from a dear friend of ours. He is still a baby as he was born Aug 29, 2022. He is going to be a big boy as he is already almost 15 hands. Anthem is a big goof and just loves to rip fly masks off his pasture mates. He most likely will not begin his saddle work until 2026.
Cooper
Cooper is an American Quarter Horse and was born on our farm in May of 2022. He will not begin his saddle work until he is 3 years old as well.

Six Shooter
Six is a 12 year old Mustang out of Nevada. He joined our farm in 2021. He is a mounted shooting horse that has a smooth rocking horse lope. He is a Mustang so he will teach the rider how to be a leader.

Buckshot
Buckshot is a 30 year old American Quarter Horse. He joined our farm in June of 2021. He is solid lesson horse and mounted shooting horse. He has proven himself in the mounted shooting arena time and time again. He can be a tad grumpy as he is an old man.

Summer
Summer is a 17 year old Appaloosa. She joined our farm in October 2020. She is a seasoned, nationally recognized Mounted Shooting horse. She is only suitable for an advanced rider. She took Stephen to CMSA's National Rookie of the year in 2021 and has helped him win many other titles.

Ryker
Ryker is a 27 year old Mustang that roamed wild in Wyoming before being rounded up. He joined our farm in the spring of 2020. Ryker is a great kids horse. He will teach his rider to sit back in their saddle as his stop is sharp and quick. He prefers more intermediate riders as he tends to get frustrated when the rider does not ask properly.

Champ
Champ is an 10 year old American Quarter Horse. He joined our farm in 2021. Champ is the biggest horse here standing at 15.3 hands. He is a gentle giant and will go as slow or fast as the riders chooses. He is a Hancock so he can be a little bullish so its important to gain his respect. He is also Kim's shooting horse.

Mingo
Mingo is a 23 year old American Quarter Horse. He joined our farm in 2021 and is a solid lesson/trail/shooting horse. He can be a tad lazy so he does require a gentle but firm rider. As a shooting horse, he needs a more confident rider as he does have some speed.

Sissy
Sissy is the momma to both Izzy and Cooper. She was Kim's barrel horse but age has caught up with her and she has arthritic changes that have forced her retirement from competition. She is a sweet mare that will gladly help the confident beginner continue to improve their horsemanship skills.

Shiloh
Shiloh does not belong to us at Harris Family Farm. But she is staying for a good bit to help with lessons at the farm and to be turned into a solid shooting horse by our son Trevor. Shiloh has an English background. She will be a fun one to watch grow and mature during her time here and will probably prove to be a barn favorite.
